Beacon Mental Health Center serves 9,000 people a year through crisis and counseling services and community outreach. Our objective was to drive branding and name recognition of the new name and branding from Tri-County Mental Health Services to Beacon Mental Health.
The community didn’t fully understand the mission of Tri-County Mental Health Services or the breadth of offerings. There was confusion and stigma around who Tri-County was as an organization and what they did. They are a non-profit health organization but were thought of as a government entity.
Together with our Strategic Research Partner Proof Positioning, we conducted a research study to gauge what the brand meant to the community, partners, and those they serve. Armed with this research, we developed a new name, brand strategy, messaging, and visual brand. They are the same nonprofit organization serving the Clay, Platte, and Ray counties of Missouri with the same mission – just under a new name, fresh visual brand, and messaging that better tells their story and how they help the community.
