Overview

Brookside Babies was a pilot program from HCA Midwest Health. HCA Midwest Health is Kansas City’s largest healthcare network of doctors, hospitals and ERs.

The program was piloted at Research Medical Center. It focused on providing resources and community for those thinking about becoming pregnant or expecting and families with small children. They wanted to be known as the source for all things baby in the Kansas City Brookside neighborhood. They also wanted to build awareness for Research Medical Center Maternity and Obstetric services and become the preferred destination for OB care in Kansas City.

The Success Story

Working alongside the Research Medical Center communications team, Novella Brandhouse developed the pilot program, Brookside Babies. We developed the program details and determined how the Research Medical Center fit into it. We also outlined the community and business partnerships, advantages of the program, how to reach the target audience, program goals and marketing needs. In addition to program development, we designed the visual branding and promotional collateral materials.

Novella Brandhouse created a targeted, successful social media campaign to drive results. Our team determined the best platforms for reaching the Brookside Babies target audience, reviewed the current social media assets and made necessary platform recommendations for reaching OB patients. We developed a customized editorial calendar that detailed all content, topics and seasonal mini-campaigns.

Our team designed and built a new website to coincide with the HCA Brookside Babies visual brand and messaging.  We also included a blog as a hub for all online content created for the program.
