Novella Brandhouse is proud to announce that Elizabeth Cooper McFadden, CEO and Director of Brand Strategy at Novella Brandhouse, has been recognized as one of the 100 Women to KNOW Across America for 2023. The annual award recognizes the top 100 female leaders across North America and is presented by JPMorgan Chase showcasing the most influential, achieved, and honorable women in our society.

This year’s honorees are entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and philanthropists who have not only grown their dreams, but have created boundless opportunities for the next generation of female leaders. These women exemplify what it means to be high-achieving and ambitious while continuing to pour into their communities.

Following a nomination and interview process, Elizabeth is being recognized for her innovative business leadership, entrepreneurial insights, mentoring, and dedication to community betterment.

I started this business because in 2006, I read an article in Inc Magazine about a woman with two small kids that started a marketing business out of her Brooklyn, NY basement armed with nothing more than her corporate marketing experience. I thought, if she can do it, I can do it,” McFadden explained. “Representation is real and meaningful. Especially for women. When you see someone who looks like you, talks like you, or lives like you, doing things you didn’t know you could do, it’s inspiring. If you can see it, you can be it.”

Since starting her business, Elizabeth has mentored other women who are just starting out, bootstrapping it and looking for a little direction. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I take that hard-earned experience and am happy to sit and have coffee with whomever reaches out and needs my help. It may be one person at a time, but I know I am impacting women as a mentor, inspiring other women business owners and training women-owned startups to be successful.”

With over 25 years of advertising/branding experience, Elizabeth brings award-winning strategy to established or scaling businesses. Taking the brand strategy model used by Fortune 500 companies, she designed a method for smaller companies to develop their brand. Elizabeth has been featured in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Kansas City Business Journal, and has co-authored two business books. In 2022, she was named one of the Enterprising Women of the Year.

The 2023 100 Women to KNOW Class was recognized at the Annual KNOW Women Summit, held April 23rd-25th in Phoenix, Arizona. Other Honorees included: Candace Nelson – Sprinkles Cupcakes, Los Angeles, California and Merrilee Kick – BuzzBallz, Carrollton, Texas
